And the Sahara R also features Shimano's Fightin' Drag II, which adds a rear strike lever that enables solid hooksets without losing your drag setting. Click the lever to the strike position to tighten up for hook-setting, then flip it back to immediately return to the original drag setting to fight the fish in. As always, the Sahara R provides Shimano quality at an affordable price, with its graphite body and rotor, 1-piece bail wire, durable cold-forged spool with smooth Propulsion Line Management System, and 3+1 bearing system.
